"Excellent Hotel"

Upon entering Kinnitty Castle, we were immediately transported back in time. The candle-lit stairs lead up to reception where we were greeted by the very friendly receptionst who showed us to our room. We stayed in the Slieve Bloom room which was spacious and the bathroom complete with large bathtub was amazing. The Hotel is in a great location for hill walks which we availed of. We had food in Sli Dala restaurant and the food is 5 start in presentation and taste as is the service. Later we had the pleasure of drinks in the Dungeon Bar which is like going back in time a few hundred years-amazing bar and atmosphere. The live music was excellent.

"Relaxing get away"

We spent a night in Kinnitty last week. Such a peaceful get away, it felt like we were away for a week. Fabulous meal in the restaurant, great entertainment in the bar, great places to relax, great walk and an amazing bedroom in the old castle part of the hotel. A perfect place to take some time out from the realities of life. 

"Fanastic Dinning"

Recently had a family meal at the Castle with family home from Dubai & friends visiting from Bordeaux. Emailed to book a table & the receptionist went out of her way to be so helpful. When asking for a copy of the menu to be emailed to me I enquired as to whether they had vegan options as two of our party were vegan. The reply came promptly with plenty of choice for vegans. The meal was outstanding, the service was extremely pleasant, the atmosphere was excellent. As it was a quiet Monday night we dined in the Library bar with a roaring open fire. Hats off to the staff & management they are doing an excellent job & we will definitely be going back again & would highly recommend Kinnitty Castle. 

" Princess Mary"

Loved my overnight here, we walked, ate and chilled in this beautiful castle and I felt like a princess.. it was really quiet so we literally had it to ourselves for the night!! Looking for a getaway from city life and the internet -visit this place.

“Phenomenal Experience!”

If you want to stay in a castle in Ireland, this is the place! Authentic castle complete with suits of armour, a dungeon bar, and an elegant dining hall. The price is reasonable, beds are comfortable, the staff is amazing, the food was delicious, and the music was entertaining! Would definitely stay here again!

“Spoil yourself and your spouse”

Decided to surprise my wife with this castle as part of a trip to Ireland. Great decision. Great Old World charm, unbeatable service extremely friendly staff. Great food, breakfast buffet was really good. The lunch in the Dungeon bar really good. Live entertainment in the Dungeon bar on Friday and Saturday nights were good fun. Dinner in the main dining room was great although the number of selections were limited but enough to find something for everyone. The grounds were beautiful, downed trees turned into whimsical cravings, good trails for walking, an ancient stone circle behind the castle, horseback riding available. You couldn't ask for anything more.
